It's easy to spend hours at home staring at a screen, lose momentum, or miss being around people who understand what it's like. The Monday Club is a friendly, supportive Monday-morning meet-up for people navigating life with work.
No awkward networking. No need to have it all figured out. Just a chance to belong and a chance to think about the week ahead.

Meet at a local café, have a coffee and a friendly chat. A chance to get to know other local people.
A relaxed, local walk with easy conversations. It's not about fitness or distance. Fresh air, smiles and good company.
Try some questions and simple activities together. They help us feel more positive, more connected and clearer about what comes next.
Finish the walk, share ideas or insights, ask questions, and leave with a little more encouragement for the week.
These three words are at the heart of the club. We all need each other more than we
realise, and we have so much to offer and share along the way.

There's no one right path, and life or career never happens in a straight line. Whether you're in a place to stay connected, hopeful and motivated.
Looking for a job or struggling to find a new one?
Working independently and missing colleagues?
New to working life and keen to learn from others?
Recently retired and adjusting to life without work?
Missing structure, connection or a sense of belonging?
Taken time out to care for a loved one and thinking about what’s next?
A relaxed meeting point for a walk around Wandsworth Park, followed by time over a hot drink.
I created The Monday Club because I know how much difference it can make to have somewhere to be, people expecting you, and a reason to get moving on a Monday morning.
I believe we could all benefit from more good people around us. I also know, through my own lived experience, how isolating, hard and sometimes frustrating it can be when we are working or not working.

People of any age or profession who are navigating life without regular work, searching for a job, working independently or adjusting to retirement. You may want connection, practical encouragement, ideas, accountability or simply somewhere to be on a Monday morning.
Because working independently can feel isolating, too. Jess wanted to create a sense of belonging and help people recognise their strengths, contribution and worth beyond employment, while making space for support and momentum.
Our shared values are positivity, kindness and support. You can be honest about difficult experiences. Together, we’ll aim to focus on what is within our control and encourage each other forward.
Meet at Ground café at 9.45am, ready to leave at 10am. We’ll take a short, easy walk through Wandsworth Park, using optional coaching questions and exercises, then return to the café to share ideas and ask for support. The format may evolve with the community. We’ll adapt plans if walking conditions are unsafe.
Connection, a little structure, a chance to reflect on what you want and what you have to offer, and an opportunity to help others too. We hope you’ll leave feeling more positive, focused and supported, although everyone’s experience will be different.
Comfortable shoes, waterproofs or an umbrella if needed, a pen and paper, and an openness to talk, listen and try something new. A smile is welcome but never compulsory.
Coffee and a pastry are part of the meetup experience if you'd like them. They are included within the minimum £5 contribution.
Every Monday · Putney, London · 9.45–11.30am · Pay what you can, £5 minimum contribution
